Booking Events

We would love to be part of your event! If you feel some Chedda’ Heads Gourmet Grilled Cheese would make a good addition, we would love to hear from you!  At the bottom of this page, fill out the form, and we will be in touch!  The following information will help you understand what we need before moving forward with your booking.

About the Food

Minimum Order Guarantee
| Events in Red Deer require a guarantee of 50 meals.
| Events within 30km of Red Deer require a guarantee of 100 meals.
| Events within 60km of Red Deer require a guarantee of 150 meals.

Serving Time
| For up to 50 meals, we allow 60 minutes for serving
| For up to 100 meals, we allow 90 minutes for serving.
| For up to 150 meals, we allow up to 120 minutes for serving.
| Extra serving time may be purchased for $60 / 30 minutes.

| You may select up to three sandwiches for us to serve at your event.
| Additional sandwiches may be added at an additional cost.
| Custom Creations can be ordered for an additional fee.

About the Truck

Arrival Time
| In order to serve your gooey grilled cheese sandwiches on time, we would like to arrive no later than 30 minutes before your requested serving time.  Once we have finished serving your guests, it takes approximately 30 minutes to prepare the truck for departure.

| Our truck requires a level parking area at least 30 feet long and 12 feet wide.  The parking area must be able to support a vehicle weight of 15,000 lbs.  If upon our arrival we are unable to park at your event, all monies for the event, in full, will be retained by Chedda’ Heads Ltd.

Permission & Permits
| If your parking area is on private property then you have nothing to worry about! If you are holding your event in a public space, you are responsible to obtain permission and/or permits needed for our food truck to be on site.  We will require documentation you have permission and/or proper permits a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your event.  Chedda’ Heads Ltd. will not be held responsible for any public parking violations.

| We will arrive fully loaded with gooey goodness for your event. For that reason, the truck will not be able to travel up hills that are 25% grade or higher.

About the Payment

To confirm your booking, we require a 50% deposit along with a signed catering agreement.  This deposit may be made over the phone with a credit card.  For events outside of Red Deer, $3.25 per km (one way) will be charged for travel at the time of your deposit.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to your event.  Menu selection and total meal count are also required by this time.


If your event is cancelled 11 days or more prior to the event, your deposit will be refunded minus a $250 cancellation fee. If the cancellation is 10 days or less prior to the event, the full deposit will be retained by Chedda’ Heads Ltd.
