For best availability please contact Chedda’ Heads Grilled Cheese Truck as early as possible for your Special Event. An event is not considered booked until a 50% deposit has been received along with a signed contract. The remaining balance will be due at the conclusion of the event. Special events must be booked at least one week prior to the event date. If your event is cancelled 10 days or more prior to the event, the full deposit will be refunded. If the cancelation is 9 days or less prior to the event, the full deposit will be retained by Chedda’ Heads Ltd.
For Special events, if the event is within the City of Red Deer, there is no travel fee associated. If the event is beyond the City of Red Deer, a $2.25 per kilometer rate will apply.
Our sandwiches, sides and sweets are served in cardboard containers. If a different product would be desired, please let us know ahead of time and we will determine if any additional costs are involved. Depending on the size of the event we will ensure that an adequate number of staff (2-4) will be on the truck to provide the best possible service.
In order to book Chedda’ Heads Grilled Cheese Truck for your event, two options are available. For an event of up to 100 servings the minimum fee is $985 + GST and includes a 1.5 hour timeframe. For an event of up to 150 servings the minimum fee is $1,485 + GST and includes a two hour time frame. Additional fees apply for servings that exceed either serving option. For any event longer than two hours, a $200 per ½ hour rate will apply. All events will be provided with the opportunity to select three sandwiches from our menu allowing patrons at the even to choose the sandwich of their preference.
Unless otherwise requested, Chedda’ Heads Grilled Cheese Truck will arrive no later than 30 minutes before the start of the event. At the conclusion of the event, it takes approximately 30 minutes to prepare the truck for departure.
Our truck requires a parking area of 30 feet long and 12 feet wide. The parking area must also be able to support a vehicle weight of 15,000 lbs. The parking area must be on private property. Obtaining permission or permit to park on public property will be the responsible of the client. Chedda’ Heads Grilled Cheese Truck will not be held responsible for any public parking violations. In the event Chedda’ Heads Grilled Cheese Truck is unable to park at the event, all monies for the event in full, will be retained by Chedda’ Heads Ltd.
We will arrive fully loaded of gooey goodness for your event. For that reason, the truck will not be able to travel up hills that are 25% grade or higher.
Chedda’ Heads Grilled Cheese Truck accepts Corporate Cheque, Cash, Debit, Visa and MasterCard. If paying by cheque, deposit payment must be received one week prior to the event. We will impose a $50 charge for any NSF cheques.
